My Bulgaria Property is a Bulgaria-based property services business and is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. What the forms collect
The contact form collects your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, property location, service interest and message.
The review form collects your name, location, service, rating, review text, optional email address and permission to publish your review. Your review email address is not published.
We also store the submission type, the date and time received, and whether it has been read. No IP addresses are collected as form fields or stored with form submissions. The server temporarily uses connection addresses in memory to limit abusive requests; our hosting providers may process connection information to deliver and protect the website.
How and why we use your information
Form submissions are used only to respond to enquiries and manage reviews. We do not use them for advertising or mailing lists, and we never sell your personal data. We read reviews personally and may publish a review, with its name, location, service and rating, on this site with your permission.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we handle service enquiries to take steps you request before entering a contract. For other enquiries and review administration, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to visitors and managing feedback. Publishing a review relies on your consent. You can withdraw publication permission at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.
Storage, access and retention
Submissions are stored securely in our database, with access through a password-protected administration area. We use HTTPS and access controls to help protect your information, although no online system can guarantee absolute security. Hosting and database providers process information as needed to run the site; we may also disclose it where required by law.
Submissions remain in the database until deleted by an administrator; there is currently no automatic deletion schedule. We aim to retain personal information only for as long as needed to respond to enquiries and manage reviews, or to meet legal obligations. A documented retention schedule is under review. You can request deletion at any time.
Cookies and external services
No analytics or advertising cookies are currently used. We will update this policy when analytics are added and seek consent where required. An essential session cookie is used for administrator login; hosting services may use cookies necessary to deliver the site.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves sending connection information, such as your IP address, to Google to display the fonts. This is separate from the information stored with our forms. Following a WhatsApp or other external link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy policy. External providers may process technical information outside the European Economic Area; provider locations and any required GDPR transfer safeguards are part of this draft's review.
Your rights and deletion requests
Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you can request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent to review publication.
Email office@mybulgariaproperty.com to exercise these rights or request deletion. We may need to confirm your identity and will normally respond within one month. If a lawful exception prevents deletion, we will explain why. You may complain to Bulgaria's Commission for Personal Data Protection or your local EU data protection authority.
